Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Mr. A. Stewart (Stew) Hanlon, President and C.E.O. of Gibson Energy ULC (“Gibson”) is pleased to announce that Gibson Energy ULC has completed the acquisition of the outstanding membership interests and other equity securities of Taylor Companies LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Taylor”), as well as certain assets of Taylor Propane Gas Inc. from Taylor Logistics LLC.

Headquartered in Mesquite, Texas, Taylor is the largest independent for-hire crude oil transportation and logistics business in the United States; Taylor’s operations include more than 340 specialized tractor-trailer units handling 49 million barrels of crude oil annually, 71 pipeline injection stations and a crude oil and NGL marketing business. Taylor has operations in most major crude oil producing states in the United States.

We are extremely pleased to be able to announce the closing of this acquisition transaction. With Taylor’s significant assets and exposure from Mississippi west to New Mexico and all the way up to the North Dakota Bakken, we view this as a significant platform to continue the growth of our company as a premier North American midstream player. We certainly look forward to welcoming all of the Taylor employees to the Gibson Team.
